Marybeth Adams, MSN, APRN
Family Nurse Practitioner
Medical Director
|
Marybeth and her husband Tim live in
Belgrade and have raised six children in the Gallatin
Valley.
She is a Montana
native and proud grandmother of four beautiful children.
Marybeth answered the call to ministry when in 2008 she laid
the groundwork for St. Catherine Family Health Care Clinic & Pregnancy Resource
Center.
An increase in teen
pregnancies and the economic downturn revealed the need for compassionate health
care for low income Gallatin Valley
residents and pregnant teens and women.
Many Spanish speaking clients are also served.
Through the generous donations and volunteer labor of many loving people
in the community, St. Catherine was officially opened on August 1, 2008 and
serves all people in the Valley – poor and prosperous, young and old, women and
men.
Marybeth is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the Medical
Director at St. Catherine.
She holds
both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Nursing from
Gonzaga
University.
She has been a registered nurse for over 20 years and has worked in
intensive care, oncology, and internal medicine.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and The American
Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Marybeth is a certified teacher in Natural Family Planning in the Diocese of
Helena and also advises couples with fertility issues.
She speaks Spanish and has participated in Medical Mission work to Mexico.
Marybeth has been active with Belgrade youth.
She has coached the distance team with the Bozeman Indoor Track Club,
AYSO soccer teams, and is herself active in the running community.
She has volunteered for years in the Belgrade Schools as chaperone,
classroom aid, and athletic events volunteer.
She also speaks on medical ethics and
The New Feminism to organizations and
private groups.
She loves her Faith
and parish at Valley
of Flowers Catholic Church,
and plays the organ for Mass every Sunday.
