Melissa Baxter and her husband, Brad moved to Belgrade in May of 1994 directly following their wedding in Laurel, Montana. They have three boys who are active in various activities in the Belgrade schools and community. Melissa loves being a wife and a mother. She has been involved in the community over the years by coaching soccer and baseball, a softball player, supporting the Belgrade Panthers and various other activities. The Baxter Family feels fortunate to be able to live in such a beautiful area and spends as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Melissa and her family have been attending and an active part of their church, The Valley of Flowers in Belgrade for over 15 years. She has been a part of the religious education program, the music ministry, the Council of Catholic Women and other various activities and ministries during that time. The Baxters have made great friends and life-long relationships at Valley of Flowers and feel blessed to be a part of such a loving and giving church community.

Melissa has completed and has been certified in the director's course given by the National Institute of Family Life & Advocates (NIFLA).  She also has over 20 years experience in child care and over 5 years experience in management. She loves children and helping people of all ages. She feels that her part as the Office Manager at St. Catherine Family Health Care Center Clinic & Pregnancy Resource Center is a true gift from God and feels blessed that she has been chosen to be a part of such an amazing group of Christ based people that work so hard for the good of others.
