There are some common signs of pregnancy, but they aren’t always accurate: Missed Period, Slight Bleeding, Swollen / Tender Breasts, Fatigue / Tiredness, Nausea / Morning Sickness, Feeling bloated, Backaches, Headaches, Frequent, Urination, Food Cravings or Food Aversions, Slightly higher body temperature. There are other reasons you might have these symptoms such as hormone imbalance, dietary problems, stress or even growths in the reproductive system. Only an ultrasound can determine if you are really pregnant. At St. Catherine, we offer free pregnancy tests and free ultrasounds which will tell you if your baby is viable (healthy), where it is (in the uterus or outside the uterus (ectopic – an emergency), how many there are (yes, twins happen!) and how far along you are in this pregnancy.
